New School Composting Program Sees Success

BERLIN – Officials say a new composting program has enabled students at a local high school to divert more than 300 pounds of food waste.Since September, a group of students at Stephen Decatur High School have been hard at work composting scraps from the school’s cafeteria kitchen.
