I have always been a huge fan of the colors red, white, and blue. Paired together they give a crisp, fashion forward feel. Patriotic fashion is nothing new, there have always been touches of this every season in fashion, but this season it goes from subtle touches to literal American flag pants, sweat shirts, and even shoes!! I am totally loving this take—it feels so rock and roll and retro 70's with a modern twist!

Just over the weekend I bought a white blazer, denim shirt, striped blue cardigan and a vintage American flag scarf. Later, when I looked over everything, the vibe I was digging that day was very apparent. All of these pieces work great together but also are key pieces that work great individually.

I also love seeing this trend in home fashion. It is so cool to have an American flag pillow thrown across a leopard throw or modern striped couch. It is all about mixing unexpected patterns and prints.
