On Saturday, October 20th, vehicles with vintage license plates will gather at 15th Street and the boardwalk beginning at noon. Those with vintage plates will be permitted to drive down the boardwalk. A celebration in the inlet parking lot will take place afterwards. All owners who would like to participate must register with the Ocean City Downtown Association. 

 

Riverside Park in Salisbury will be home to a large arts and craft market this weekend. On Saturday, October 20th from 9 am to 2 pm, the public can view and purchase original art and craft items created by local and regional professional and emerging artists and crafters. The event is weather permitting and will take place in the parking area across from Chesapeake 

 

Celebrate all that October has to offer this weekend in Ocean City: OC Toberfest. From 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday, the inlet parking lot will be transformed into a traditional Octoberfest.  Events will be held on the beach at Dorchester and Somerset streets as well. A beach maze will be set up for adults and children. Halloween displays, live music, and activities will take place. A Howl-O-Ween pet parade gives everyone an excuse to see their pets dressed in fun Halloween costumes. Registration for events begins at 1 pm.

 

Six Eleven Salon & Gallery will present their Video Art Show this Saturday from 8 to 11 pm. The salon and gallery will be celebrating their 1-year anniversary by having a party and showcasing artwork by Trevor Dunt. Hor d’vourse and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided. One lucky attendee will be going home with a brand new Halloween poster by Trevor Dunt; to be given away during a raffle.  Six Eleven Salon & Gallery is located on Route 611 in West Ocean City.

The Salisbury Rollergirls’ all-star season closer takes place this Sunday evening. On October 21st at 7 pm, the Salisbury Rollergirls’ will end the season with a bout against Charm City’s ferocious Female Trouble. The derby will take place at Mitchell’s Martial Arts studio in Salisbury, MD. Tickets can per purchased for $10 at the door. Children age 8 and under are free.
