FRIDAY - Rock Bottom, a KISS tribute band who really likes to dress up in exquisite costumes, will perform live on stage at Fager’s Island (59^th Street, Bayside). The show starts at 10 pm. If unable to make this show, no worries. Rock Bottom frequents the Ocean City area all year round.

SATURDAY – Head to Liquid Assets (94^th Street & Coastal Highway) for their Fall Tasting on October 29^th. Prepare your taste buds for seasonal brews and wines. The free tasting runs from 1 – 3 pm. Shawn from Legends will be showcasing limited edition pumpkin brews while Sarah from Reliable Churchill features Halloween and Fat Bastard wines. If you like the Fat Bastard wines - purchase them. Proceeds from all Fat Bastard wine sales will be donated to local breast cancer organizations. The delicious Liquid Assets menu will be available for those looking to dine as well as an $8 lunch combo special.

SATURDAY - The Seacrets Halloween Costume Contest is something some people look forward to, and plan for, all year round. Top prize is a trip for two to Jamaica. This party at Seacrets (49^th Street, Bayside) is where you’ll want to be if you’re on the prowl for the best costumes. Locals and visitors alike will be dressed and dancing the night away in Morley Hall.

SUNDAY – Join the party at Northside Park (125^th Street, Bayside) on the 30^th for a Halloween party with snacks, hayrides, arts & crafts, vendors, carnival games, and a costume contest. Events in the park will start at 1 pm and continue until 3 pm.  A costume contest for children will showcase the most creative kid’s costumes in Ocean City. Be sure to swing by the free candy table and snag something to satisfy your sweet tooth.

MONDAY – If they didn’t already go to Seacrets on Saturday for the huge costume contest, Ocean City locals will head to Seacrets on Monday for the Locals Halloween Party. The bayside establishment opens at 4 pm for dining. Enjoy half-priced dinners from 5 – 10 pm. The Costume Contest takes place later in the evening. Winners will receive gift certificates to Seacrets – Jamaica USA or a cash prize.

Berlin

The residents of historic Berlin, MD have been excited for Halloween ever since Octoberfest. Trick-or-treat shenanigans are planned for Monday, October 31^st from 5 – 7 pm.  Put on your Halloween costume and go door-to-door with your pumpkin pale and collect candy downtown from Bay Street to Broad Street, all of Main Street, or behind Buckingham Elementary.

SATURDAY – The ‘Thriller Event’ is something not to miss! A talented group of children, parents, and the students and teachers at Seaside Dance Academy have been working on this project for weeks. A funky flash mob is planned to take place on Main Street, directly in front of the Atlantic Hotel, sometime on Saturday. From 4 – 7 pm guests can take part in games, adult and children’s costume contests, a parade, and face painting. Halloween artwork will be on display and available for purchase. Funky Halloween dance music will flood the streets downtown. The ‘Thriller Event’ is supported by Nanakai’s Organic Spirit, the Globe Theatre, Seaside Dance Academy, and the Berlin Chamber of Commerce.

SATURDAY - After the flash mob, after the face painting, and after the hayrides, go to the Haunted Hallway. From 7 – 9 pm the Worcester Youth & Family Counseling Services staff will host a haunted house tour. The hallways of Worcester Youth & Family Counseling Services (124 N. Main Street) will be transformed into a scary, gory, and gruesome sight. The Haunted Hallway tour costs $8 per person.  Attendee must be 13 years of age or older due to the scary subjects found roaming the halls.

Ocean Pines

SATURDAY - The community of Ocean Pines does not offer trick-or-treating in their neighborhoods but does celebrate the new season with a Fall Festival in the Park. On Saturday, October 29^th, White Horse Park in Ocean Pines, MD will be filled with ghosts and goblins. From 1 – 4 pm there will be live music, a costume contest, carnival games, face painting, arts & crafts, pony rides, and a moon bounce set up in the park. Admission is free and lite refreshments will be available. Stop by Ocean Pines on Saturday to snag some candy and other goodies at the Fall Festival.

Salisbury

The city of Salisbury, MD has quite a few Halloween shin-digs occurring this weekend.  There are several fall festivities taking place at some of Salisbury’s best family-friendly places. Trick-or-Treat is scheduled for Monday, the 31^st, from 6 – 8 pm.

SATURDAY - Get to the Salisbury Zoological Park (755 South Park Drive) and participate in their Not so Scary Halloween Happenings. From 1 – 4 pm on Saturday, participants will be able to trick-or-treat through the zoo. Numerous games are scheduled during the event. Dress up as a zoo animal and enter the costume contest. The event is free for children age 10 and under. Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the zoo. An additional charge for food, beverages, and games may apply.

MONDAY – Let the kiddos wear their favorite costumes to the Wicomico Public Library (122 S. Division Street) on Monday morning. From 10:30 – 11:30 am, children are invited to attend Halloween story time at the library. A Halloween story will be read to the children and a costume parade will follow after. Children can parade through the upper level of the library and check out their favorite children’s Halloween books.

MONDAY – The Downtown Plaza will be transformed into Treat Street on the 31^st. From 6 – 9  pm, families can go trick-or-treating at local businesses that line Main Street in Salisbury. Safe trick-or-treating will be held at the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Business Center (144 E. Main Street) if it rains. Enjoy eating Halloween candy while playing table games. The event is free and open to the public.

Bethany

SATURDAY - The first ever Wags, Witches & Warlocks Halloween Festival takes place in Bethany Beach on Saturday, October 29^th. Starting at 11 am guests can enjoy a parade, costume contest, trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating or a hayride. Many local restaurants will be part of a ‘restaurant crawl’ and will be featuring fall-inspired dishes and drink specials. This event is open to the public and sponsored by Yuppy Puppy (123 Garfield Parkway) of Bethany Beach. Wags, Witches & Warlocks was created as a way to help support local animal shelters. Parade registration starts at 10 am and costs $5, or 2 cans of dog or cat food, to participate. All proceeds generated at the event will be donated local animal shelters.

Fenwick Island

SATURDAY – Venture to High Stakes Bar & Grill (5799 Lighthouse Cove) in Fenwick on Saturday night to participate in their Halloween costume contest.  Awards will be distributed for different costume categories: Best, funniest, and scariest costume.  The winners will walk away with a trophy and gift card for High Stakes.  Drink specials and a full menu--nothing over $12, will be available during the event.

SATURDAY - Harpoon Hanna’s has turned Halloween into a charitable event. Some zombies, resurrected from the grave, are throwing a party at Harpoon Hanna’s (39064 Harpoon Road, off of rt. 54) to support a local Relay for Life team. Everyone is encouraged to put together their best zombified look. Tickets for the event at $25 per person and are available at the door. Money raised will benefit Team Refuge and support the Relay for Life organization. From 5 – 9 pm a full buffet, music, dancing, and a 50/50 raffle will keep all zombie attendees fed and entertained. 

Dewey

SATURDAY - The Starboard (2009 Highway One) in Dewey Beach is throwing their annual Halloween celebration on Saturday night. DJ Red Dog will start the party at 9 pm, Freshly Squeezed! will take the stage followed by a Halloween costume party. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes.  The Starboard staff says, “Come and get BOOze!”

Rehoboth

FRIDAY – SUNDAY - If you’re looking to celebrate the Halloween Season, go to Rehoboth beach this weekend. The 22^nd annual Seawitch Halloween and Fiddler’s Festival in Rehoboth, DE will run from October 28^th – 30^th. Trick-or-Treat is scheduled during the Seawitch Festival on Saturday at 11 am and is for children under the age of 14. The Seawitch Halloween and Fiddler’s Festival is a “can’t miss” kind of event on the Eastern Shore. Georgetown

FRIDAY – MONDAY – Dare to enter the East Coast’s scariest haunted attraction, All Hallow’s Revenge, this weekend or on Halloween night. With 2 indoor haunts, walk-thru woods, and a small haunted town, All Hallow’s Revenge is a premier attraction during the Halloween season.  Located on the grounds of Sports at the Beach (22518 Lewes Georgetown Highway) in Georgetown, DE, All Hallow’s Revenge is open to those who really like a good scare. Ticket sales begin at 6:30 pm and the haunts open at 7 pm. Tickets cost $19 each. Ticket sales stop at 11 pm on Friday and Saturday and at 10 pm on Sunday and Monday. All Hallow’s Revenge is not recommended for anyone under the age of 12. This haunted attraction is also open the weekend of November 5^th.
