Salisbury Zoo to Celebrate 60th Anniversary Friday Evening

The Salisbury Zoo was founded in 1954 when many animals were placed on permanent exhibition in the Salisbury City Park. The zoo made improvements in the 1970’s and now provides enclosures for species native to North, Central and South America.
