A Lucky Girl's Life: What Your Face Says About You

Posted by Shorebread | Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Oriental Face Mapping is a great tool to help you improve your overall health and skin. This simple art is thousands of years old - a proven way to learn all your face has to say about your internal imbalances.

By looking at your face I can help pinpoint signs of what’s really going on in your body so you can better help yourself. When you look good, you feel good and vice versa. It should start from within with a balanced body and knowing what to do if you are unbalanced.

In a consult, I would start by showing you a map of how all of your body organs are directly correlated to locations on your face. I would then read your face and mark the areas on the map that show signs of imbalance. It is amazing how it is all directly related.

Some examples of readings might be:

  • The chin area is red, indicating you might be eating too much sugar and have an overgrowth of yeast in your colon.
  • You might have white spots under your skin; this could be created by the dairy in your diet causing mucus in your body.
  • Maybe the lips are sore and cracked, which could be related to the excess acidity in your stomach.

The process involves asking many questions, and then based on your answers, helping you to determine what could be healthier food choices, as well as facial products that could help with your problems.

If you would like to know more take a look at your own facial regions and the associated organs.

Forehead: Gall Bladder/ Liver

Underneath Eyes: Stomach/ Kidneys/Liver

Middle of Cheeks: Colon

Lower Cheeks: Lungs/ Stomach

Lips/Stomach: Intestines

Nose: Heart

Face Mapping is a much more detailed way of finding underlying problems. I can't diagnose illness because I am not a doctor, but you could benefit from a complimentary consultation with any facial service.

You might not even have any underlying concerns and are perfectly healthy—but may have a surface issue from using pore-clogging ingredients or products that do not serve your skin in a positive way. You might like to try the "Aromatherapy Experience." This spa treatment will also include a foot reflexology massage—which feels amazing, and pinpoints other organs that release endorphins, your natural painkillers. Most people doze off or go in a complete deeply relaxed state of well-being.

For your first visit this treatment is just $75 for a one-hour experience. Be good to yourself! To make an appointment with me call 410-208-2576 at Robin Walter Salon & Spa.
